I’ve decided to turn my literature degree (gathering dust under my copy of Romeo & Juliet), travel experiences (finding true love), and obsession with Dior (Miss Chérie), into a collection of stories and vignettes of my lifestyle.

Let me help you to find the story in your lifestyle according to you. It’s unique and interesting because you are.

Maybe that means rewriting old fairytales, or catching a one-way ticket to Paris. Maybe it means coming back from France just to kiss Boston goodbye and moving to Bangkok. But whatever it means, I think life is always better with beautiful things and a book.

  • My dog is my soulmate, besides that other guy I met in Paris.
  • Gone with the wind is my favorite book.
  • I refer to Shakespeare as “The Bard.”
  • Like literature, languages are a passion of mine & I’m fluent in French & Thai.
  • But I’m atrocious at geometry, and maps are a mystery to me.
  • My other loves are the piano, ballet, watercolor painting, and salami.
  • Midnight coffees are my favorite. I’ll never choose tea.

  2. your blog is captivating – you have a great voice, creativity, eye for design. i didn’t set up my about page right away – it takes a while to figure out how to portray yourself and how it fits with your blog content. i want to know more about you and why paris (i read that you packed up and moved abruptly – kudos!), but tell us more about just who you are. i took a few snippets of my “back story” and made my about page a permanent page. didn’t realize right away how often people visit the blog and go directly to “about me” for more info. you’re rockin’ it – keep it up.

    1. Aw, thank you! Thaaank you! I know the feeling, so I was like hm, girl slap on a picture with a reference to coffee- that’ll buy you time! I like the idea of snippets, it seems that about pages are mostly tidbits and important themes (from the awesome feedback I’ve been getting) the problem is tying it together as it’s probably going to semi-guide the direction of the blog. So I don’t want it to be limiting, and yet, it needs to be precise. Thanks for the advice- I didn’t know either people were interested in the about page! Usually when I visit blogs I go straight to food pics! Jk, but…not joking ❤ Xo.

    1. Thank you! It’s difficult because I never really wrote much before…bits and pieces here and there, this is the first time I’m writing on such a public and open platform. It’s been wonderfully encouraging, and I’m hoping to continue! To be honest I never had the confidence to write… thank you for your support, truly.

  9. I was introduced to your blog this morning and I made sure to follow it. For some reason I have this unspoken love affair with France and I don’t speak French. I’ve been twice and have loved so much about it–not to mention the food, culture, sights and sounds. I will be living vicariously through you and dreaming of the day we can return again!

You are so lucky to have lived in Paris. My hubby and I spent 2 days there and I am so so enamoured by the glamour and the charm of the beautiful city. We were there only for two days and I have always been the typical girl dreaming about Eiffel tower from my teenage days so an evening and one day morning we spent there only 😀 Apart from that we went to the Louvre museum, Champs Elysses, Palais Garnier and Place de la Concorde 🙂 I am so much looking forward to your Parisian story 🙂
